The interview
Don’t be nervous - you don’t have to dress up and there aren’t any uncomfortable questions. In fact - you can even fill out a detailed questionaire and email it to us. The main focus is to download information from your brain and upload into ours.
Data gathering and research
Once we know what you want - its time to dive in and immerse ourself in your world. We use the data from the interview to research your industry, competitors and gain knowledge about your business.
First concepts
I once used to sketch out all my ideas using pen and paper. I went away from that after realizing I could do so many more concepts with just the computer. I found something was missing during this process. I’ve recently gone back to sketches as my primary concept generator - the creative process is much more focused. The same process may or may not apply to a web design depending on the type of website and the amount of artwork involved. First concepts for the web are generally focused on content and user interface.
Initial Design - Creating the plans
The initial design may include two or three of the best concepts, but usually no more. For example in the initial design phase of logo design you’ll see a few seemingly polished designs. In reality these are probably created quickly and in need of more work to make them perfect for print. The initial design phase during the web development phase may involve a color design and/or simply an interface design. The web design process requires solid planning, good communication and finally good construction. The initial design phase isn’t about US so much as it is YOU. This is the part of the process where your participation is crucial.
Construction
This is where it all comes together. Our team uses the latest technology, knowledge and skills to construct the plans from the initial design. Depending on the size of the project this may be a couple days or a matter of months. Once construction is completed, lets move to delivery.
Delivery
Whether its a logo design, print project, web site or illustration the delivery is the most exciting part for both us and our client. It represents a lot of hard work and for you it often represents the launch of a succesful new venture or project. The actual product delivered is often files of many sorts, sizes and types. We work hard to provide you with everything you need for now and the future.
